Panashe was born an artist with talent and grew up in the society of masters with his uncle Bernard Matemara, Francis Mugavazi, Brighton Sango, and others. He started sculpting in 1991 when he was at school doing his Grade 7 O'levels and he did his primary and secondary education in Guruve. In 2000 he met Maganizo Vissensio in Harare and worked with him until 2004 as his assistant providing some new ideas. In 2005/2006 they did a two-man workshop and Exhibition in the Netherlands.
