Born 2 Dec 1968. Lizeni is a female sculptor working in the Tafara area of Zimbabwe. She is the 3rd born into a family of 8 children. She is a widow looking after her 2 children, and 3 grandchildren. She was introduced to sculpting by her late husband, Levi. She would help him finish his stone artworks, and polish them. In 1998 she began carving her own pieces. She30 is exceptional in the female form. Lizeni has exhibited in the UK, Belgium, Netherlands, and South Africa. She is one of the few female sculptors working in this area and wishes to attract more women to the art of sculpting.
This sculpture comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
