Byron Tigere, was born in 1992 into a family of rich art tradition. He fell in love with stone carving. His father, Matthew Zvondai, is a master stone sculptor and has had a huge influence over Byron’s art. Working briefly in Chitungwiza Arts Centre, he now carves sculptures from Murewa and brings them across to Chitungwiza in order to have access to the collective market.
