Born on the 8th of March 1964 in Harare, Zimbabwe. His parents originate from Mozambique. He started sculpting at school, but his first occupation was a motor mechanic. Later on, he moved to work on a game reserve near Tengenenge Art Community. Whilst working at the game reserve, he had his heart stolen by the beauty of the art around him and the artistic atmosphere. He decided to join the artists and quit his job. He started sculpting in 2000. He loves to sculpt “Praying Ladies” and works mainly in Spring Stone. He has one daughter.
